I hope you love it.  I dont work with purple very often, but I couldn't resist this pattern!  Strawberries and butterflies!  So summery and vintage, Oh MY!

MY RENDITION:

WHAT I USED AND WHY I LIKED THIS SKETCH/TSUNAMI ROSE PAPERS
I love that Tsunami Rose has such vintage script papers!  These are so versatile!  I love the man that was here also, but I wanted to save it for something else.
I had a lot of distressing to do on this card and it took a good while, but was so relaxing.  I stamped out the butterflies and used My Tim Holtz  Distress Markers in a water color way for the subtle color.  I also colored or blotched many of the other elements.

Design Team for Tsunami Rose Vintage Shop Sketch 9

Design Team for Tsunami Rose Vintage Shop Sketch 9

So I think Im getting the hang of sketches, yesterdays card was my first time using one :)    I thought at first it was "cheating", but let me tell you, it makes me pull my mind out of the same ol' and use my things in a way I would never have came up with on my own, stretching me way out of the box!  If you love these papers, check out her shop  http://www.zibbet.com/tsunamirose

The papers I used from her shop here are: Vintage Rouge Brown, Vintage Rose, and Soft Flowers.
I used some music paper scraps I have of another brand, however she does have a beautiful sheet called Vintage Floret that would be perfect!
The stamp is an old SEI stamp, also Martha Stewart eyelet lace punch and embossing powder, pop dots and hot glue, the tag is from Basic Gray, prima pearls.    Hope you adore the card, I do!

I used some paper scraps for my background, added a thick lime colored silk ribbon, and a cupcake stamp, which I stamped 3 times in cat eye chalk pigment, I covered the top and bottoms in different colors then stamped on white card stock.  I nipped off the tops of two of the cupcakes, used chalks for the very first time to color them in, then I stamped images from my Fiskars stamps on White card stock, cut them out and added them, making them look as if the balls were pressed into the icing, added Bakers Twine and pop dots.  I think they are adorable.  This card is going to one of my good friends :)

Welcome to the 3D Blog Hop this hop is going to have projects that are all 3D. To be eligible for the grand prize drawing you must leave a comment for everyone and become a follower. The grand prize winner will be announced one week after the hop closes so that everything can be checked.

My Pot of Gold did not flow as expected, My cricut was not happy about making this cut, I had to update before getting it cut, I was not happy either, The cut is from Simply Charmed cart, cut twice, I hid the small cuts on my Gypsy, after cutting, I cut the top strait across, added more paper to make it box-like, added some gold pieces, adhered some to the front, and some on back, scored the card stock twice, cut 2 slots in the middle of the spine then turned them inward, where I attached the pot to make it Pop up. I added some Prima flowers, and bling then stamped my sentiments with Martha Stewart letters and Unity Stamps

The finger Prints on the pot were from my 2yr olds greasy Pizza fingers, I think it adds a little sometking LOL, she just thought it was pretty!

My Blog Candy~~~Must like and comment on all Blogs throughout the hop and I will pick a winner Monday
