Beautiful Pendants for Beautiful Friends!

Its been a while since I have posted last, Thank you all for your wonderful comments, and all the love you have sent in my comments!  I appreciate your prayers and Moms healing has been slow, and three steps forward, two steps back. Mom is coming along fine, and I will be finding a new house in a couple months, All great things!  This summer has been full of traveling and/or helping Mom. I have had a hard time keeping up with my blog, Im back on it now though!
1 more thing to mark off my "Going to Make That Someday"  List!  I have  a couple friends who I owe a handmade gift, and a couple I have been wanting to give a handmade gift. Killing two birds with one stone may be a little inappropriate in this case LOL!

I had so much fun making these and spent a little time with one of my favorite people, Because My Cricut is fried I have only had it a year, so I will be on the phone with PC Monday morning, Not happy about this!  First I cut my Shrinky Dink with the Cricut and Doodle Charms cartridge, Stamped many different Prima Stamps, some on one side and some on the other, I liked them best stamped on the rough side, After they were baked I used a big block stamp to press them flat quickly, then after they cooled I used my Alcohol ink on the back side, after it dried I added the pearly dobbers to add a little bling and texture.  Made a charm with a couple, however, I plan to trade it out for brass colored and beads before they reach their new homes.

Get Well Card for Mom

***UPDATE***
Mom is fine and has been released from the hospital.   Thank you so much for your prayers, well wishes, and kind words.  Please keep her/us in your prayers as she will still be recovering for a while. She is alright, and we are still trying to stabilize the living situation.

Please pray that we can get Mom in a stable environment soon, she is back in the hospital.  I wont bore you with the details, but for her health and sanity, and mine!  We are looking for a bigger house for us all, or at least a small house close to us for her...All prayers are appreciated.  I  just received the call that she is back in the hospital and will get another call when she is situated in her room, then I will take of to see her, and see whats going on.  But this will not post till tomorrow, so by then I should have more details.

If you have arrived frim Erin's blog, then you are right on track!  However if you are just visiting, and got caught up in the middle, please start at the beginning   Faith for some very important information that may consern you or someone you love.

About 4.8 million intimate partner-related physical assaults and rapes occur every year while many more assaults and rapes go unreported entirely. Over 3 million children witness violence in their home each year and those who see and hear violence in the home suffer physically and emotionally. These statistics are sad and overwhelming, but help IS out there for those that choose to break the silence.

Together we can make a difference! Help us instill some hope where very little probably exists and give 24 families a chance at recovery when we are able to donate 1k dollars to the Bradley Angle House.  Your purple themed card(s) with a hope filled message inside could make all the difference, not to mention give YOU a chance to win the grand prize for this hop...what is it you ask?  A prize basket valued at more than $100.

Want more chances to win the grand prize?  Additional entries will be given for each $1 donation you include with your card.  Would you prefer 1 entry, 10 entries, or is 100 entries more of what you had in mind?  It's all up to you!  Cards must be postmarked by June 30th for inclusion in basket drawings and can be mailed to the following address:
Royal Purple Hop
c/o Vicki Smith
P.O. Box 1496
Millbrook, NY 12545

My card for her project:

I see that I need to Xyron the circle sticker, the sticky has worn off

Id love to tell you where the paper came from, I have asked the friend who sent it to me, and am
waiting to hear back, the sticker circles are from a box set I bought about 2 yrs ago.  I knew the stickers would come in handy in my Scrapbook Nook, and they were perfect!  The stamp is an old set of SEI sentiments. The cut is from Cupcake Wrappers Lite Cricut Cartridge.  The punch is Martha Stewart the big butterfly) and a small no name brand for the smallest butterflies.  The gem is clear and colored in with my Bic Mark It.

FAITH is going to have many "single" blog candy prizes.
Grand Prize Basket
1 PKS Assortment (1 of everything Kathy is donating)
1 Verve Gift Certificate (it's $25)
1 Spa Basket (candle, CD, bath soap)

Your card gets you entered into all 4 of those "grand prize" drawings...your financial donation gets you extra entries into the grand prize basket.  Hop participants will not be eligible to win any of the prize packages but CAN win the "single" blog candy gifts (there is PKS to win YAY you guys).
