When spring arrives, I always look forward to my flowers blooming and my 2 of my 3 daughters' birthday, The oldest and newest were born 10yrs and 1 day apart.  April 30th and May 1st. We play with them saying, "April showers bring May flowers".

When I think Spring, I think of Flowers, and new beginnings! I have a a very good friend, who's wedding, I will not be attending. LA is a good way from here!  Shes very earthy and there is not a pink, or girly thing about her!  I had to resist making them  out of plaid!  So I went with Grunge colored Roses!

I used the hand cut circle in what ever size came out as I cut the paper and cut into a swirl, then used my long tweezers to hold the outside end and roll to the middle, I then loose end the curl out to allow it to "open up", then I used Aleen's Tacky Glue to glue the middle of the circle to the middle bottom.
I forgot to tell you, I removed the stark white back by adding ink, Walnut Matha Stewart, Stampn Up Curry, And Glorious Green, this is  the side of each that was stark white.  I used brown Martha Stewart eye, to ink up the edges.

Died them 2 different colors with alcohol ink, I just mixed bunch of colors till I ended up with the result I wanted, Olive and rust.

Inked  up vellum with bronze Martha Stewart pigment ink, to remove starkness. punched out tiny flowers

left are mine, using the cap from the generic one on the right that was on the spray I bought at Dollar Tree to reuse the stems and caps.

Added the pearl sprays and cut and Hot Glued the  pearls in the middle for stamen

Regular Olive color card stock Inked up with curry ink

Then  Walnut ink

Punched w Martha Stewart Rose Leaf

I'm thinking about  adding grunge roses and Anna Roses as the Wedding approaches!
