How exciting is that.  Ok, So here's how it happened.  I messaged him and asked him about a bail he made for some pendants, I sent him the pic of what I was making and let him know I need it pretty fast because some girls were already wanting these.  I forgot where I seen it, just remembered it was him.  But I found it flipping through the Big Ass Book of Bling before he had a chance to respond.  He asked if he could feature it and I said yes.  

Here's how I made it, I have a sheet of brass my Father-In-Law got me last year.  I used my Tim Holtz Tattered Flowers die and I had some flower middle bling stickers, They have a pearl in the middle which I removed.  My Hubby and I went shooting a couple weeks ago and I kept the spent shells.  I used my metal shears to split them and my long nose pliers to help bend them.  I bent up the flower how I like them and used E6000 to attach everything.  I found some heart shaped paper clips that I used to attach upside down to the back because I couldn't find my wire.  

I know its been a while, Im so glad to be back!

Surprising Technique! My Mothers Day Cards

I ran a hard a regular dress form chipboard cut under card stock through my Big Shot, the same way you would use a spellbinder, this was the result, a few tares, as expected, but beautiful none the less!  I trimmed around them and added a few embellishments.

I need more material!  :)   silky materials, Big shot dies, Hello Kitty and Tim Holtz tattered flowers, pearly cabochons, pearl trim, hot glue, glass beads, bling trim, fibers buttons, bling, big grill lighter to burn and fluff up the edges

Big Shot thinks Shes A Big Shot Now!


I was messing around with different materials on my Big Shot today and came up with this: 

I started cutting up an old denim skirt, the same that I made the rosettes with a couple posts back, and then, this came to mind, I seen the tape out of the corner of  my eye and was cutting the seams off the skirt.

You can also use whatever tape you have

Im going to stack the layers  and hot glue them together next, I have a sweet plan for them, but its a secret!

I laid the tape down sticky up, layed out the pieces to cover the flower die, then cut with the Big Shot. pulled off the extra pieces and covered w tape again until I glue them together.

They would look so sweet on a denim covered headband or a navy blue stretchy head band!  But thats not in my plan!
